Therapy for Highly Sensitive People — Gentle, Grounded, and Affirming
As a Marriage and Family Therapist—and a Highly Sensitive Person myself—I know how overwhelming and isolating it can feel to navigate a world that often asks us to “toughen up” or be “less sensitive.” HSPs tend to process experiences deeply, feel emotions intensely, and notice subtle details that others might miss. These are incredible strengths, but without the right support, they can also lead to emotional exhaustion, anxiety, or feeling like you don’t quite fit in.
In my practice, I specialize in working with Highly Sensitive People who are ready to reconnect with their inner wisdom and live in a way that honors their sensitivity—not in spite of it, but because of it. With over five years of experience and my own lived understanding of what it means to be highly sensitive, I offer a warm, affirming space where you can feel safe to explore your inner world, release old patterns, and move at your own pace.
My approach is deeply holistic and relational, drawing from compassion-based practices, parts work (such as Internal Family Systems), somatic awareness, narrative therapy, and expressive arts techniques. Together, we might tune into the needs of different parts of you, use body-based tools to regulate overwhelm, creatively explore your story through art or imagery, or gently rewrite internal narratives that no longer serve you. Each session is grounded in attunement, care, and a deep respect for your unique nervous system and way of being in the world.
Because I live this experience too, I understand the quiet strength it takes to stay open and sensitive in a world that often values speed, productivity, and emotional distance. In our work together, you won’t be asked to change who you are. Instead, you’ll be supported in creating a life that truly supports you—one rooted in self-trust, clarity, and compassion.
You don’t have to go it alone. There’s nothing “too much” about you here—just depth, beauty, and a nervous system doing its best to keep you safe. I’m here to walk with you as you rediscover what it means to feel at home in yourself.
