Working with Complex Trauma (CPTSD) in Therapy

Navigating the impact of Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) can be a deeply challenging journey, often rooted in prolonged exposure to traumatic experiences. In therapy, I provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore the layers of their trauma, recognizing that healing is not linear. Together, we will work to identify and understand the effects of past experiences on your present life, including patterns of emotional dysregulation, relational difficulties, and self-perception. My approach is compassionate and tailored to your unique needs, ensuring that you feel seen and heard throughout the process.

Using evidence-based techniques such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and narrative therapy, I help clients reconnect with their inner selves and re-author their stories. By integrating creative modalities and expressive arts, we can facilitate deeper processing and expression of emotions that may be difficult to verbalize. My goal is to empower you to reclaim your narrative, fostering resilience and self-compassion as we work toward healing. Together, we will honor your experiences and build a foundation for a more fulfilling and integrated life.
